1. Overview & Scope

At shopperdot.com, we aim to provide a fair, transparent, and customer-friendly policy for returns, refunds, cancellations, and order issues. This policy applies to all orders placed on shopperdot.com, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.


2. Pre-Shipment Cancellation / Right to Cancel

  • If you place an order and wish to cancel before it has been shipped, you may contact us immediately via Customer Support (email or live chat) with your order number and request a cancellation.

  • If the cancellation request is received before the item is dispatched, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

  • Once the item has been shipped (i.e., tracking information is generated), the order is considered final. Cancellations after shipping must follow the standard return policy (see below).


3. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

3.1 Eligible Returns / Refunds / Exchanges

You may request a return, refund, or exchange under the following conditions:

  • The item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described / incorrect item.

  • The item is missing, or you never received it (depending on freight carrier confirmation).

  • You simply changed your mind — provided the item is in its original, unused, resalable condition, in its original packaging with all tags/labels, and the return is requested within the permitted return period.

3.2 Return Window

  • For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, or for non-delivery or missing order claims — you must report the issue within 15 days of delivery

  • For change-of-mind returns (i.e., you simply don’t want the item) — we allow returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in original condition, and in original packaging (with all tags/labels intact).


4. Return / Refund Process

  1. Contact shopperdot.com Customer Support (email or live chat) with your order number and reason for return/refund.

  2. For claims related to damage, defect, or incorrect item — include photo evidence clearly showing the issue.

  3. Once approved:

    • Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all tags/labels intact.

    • Ship the item back to us using a trackable shipping method, and provide the tracking number.

  4. After we receive and inspect the return:

    • If approved — we will issue a refund to your original payment method, or offer an exchange or store credit, as per your preference and what’s available.

    • Refunds are usually processed within 7–10 business days after we confirm receipt and inspection of the returned item.


5. Return Shipping Costs & Restocking

  • If the return is due to a damage, defect, or incorrect item, we will cover or reimburse the return shipping cost.

  • For change-of-mind returns, you (the customer) will usually cover the return shipping cost.

  • If a returned item is not in original, resalable condition (e.g., used, missing parts, missing tags/labels, damaged due to customer misuse), we reserve the right to deny the refund or issue only a partial refund after deducting a restocking fee.

  • Items marked “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or “Non-returnable” at the time of purchase are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.


6. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

The following types of items (but not limited to) may be considered non-returnable / non-refundable:

  • Personalized or custom-made items.

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, consumables with shelf life).

  • Digital goods, software, or downloadable content.

  • Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or “Non-returnable” at the time of purchase.


7. Special Cases & Exceptions

We may handle certain situations with special care, even if they fall outside standard return conditions:

7.1 Late Shipping / Non-Shipment by Us

If we fail to ship your order within the timeframe we committed at checkout (or as per order confirmation), and you choose to cancel before shipping — we will issue a full refund.

7.2 Lost or Missing Orders

If the tracking shows delivered but you did not receive the package, please first check with your local post office or delivery agent. If no resolution can be reached — contact us. We will require you to file a claim with the shipping carrier. If the carrier confirms the order as lost or missing (per their policy), we will refund or resend the order as appropriate.

7.3 Customs, Duties, and Taxes (for International Orders)

  • For orders shipped internationally, any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the customer’s responsibility. We recommend customers check with their local customs authority before placing an order.

  • These duties, taxes, or customs charges are not covered by shopperdot.com, and are non-refundable, even if you return the item (unless the item was defective, damaged, or incorrect).


8. Method of Refund & Timing

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout — unless we agree otherwise.

  • We may withhold the refund until we have either: (a) received and inspected the returned item, or (b) received valid proof (tracking number) that you shipped it back.

  • For returns where you (the customer) are responsible for shipping — we may deduct the return shipping cost from the refund (if you opted not to prepay return shipping).
